Hustler Honors Heroes At NALP’s R&R Event

On July 14th, the National Association of Landscape Professional’s (NALP) Renewal & Remembrance Event brought together nearly400 volunteers from 30 states for a day of service and reflection at two of Washington DC’s most revered sites.  As proud sponsor of this year’s event, Hustler worked alongside more than 150 landscape professionals spreading woodchips, pruning trees, and removing tree stumps at Arlington National Cemetery and the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial.

Aaron Griffith, Director of Professional Dealer Sales for Hustler shared, “Personally, it was my first opportunity to contribute at Arlington National Cemetery—a truly humbling experience that deepened my appreciation for the care and reverence dedicated to this hallowed ground.” He went on to say, “The most rewarding aspect of this event is the chance to give back, even for a few hours, by helping to honor and beautify the memorials in the DC area, while also reconnecting with our valued Hustler customers who joined us for this meaningful occasion.”

For many, Renewal &Remembrance is more than a day of beautification—it is a tradition of service, camaraderie, and reflection. As Jeff Foster, Professional Product Support Manager for Hustler noted, “This marked my fourth year participating in this event, and I had the privilege of working at the FDR Memorial. Witnessing the collective effort—especially from those who typically work behind the scenes—was truly inspiring. This event transcends beautification; it is an opportunity to take in the sights, sounds, and camaraderie that surround us, and to appreciate the meaning behind our contributions.” The gratitude expressed by all, and the lasting impact of the volunteers' efforts, serve as a testament to the enduring spirit of community associated with this event.
