2023 Equip Exposition Attendee Wins Big

Landscaper Plans for Future Growth with New Hustler Mowers

Samuel Caldera taking delivery of his new fleet of Hustler Zero-Turns

Like many attendees at Equip Expo this past October, Samuel Caldera of Caldera Landscaping sat through dozens of giveaways and came to the realization that he would probably walk away empty handed. Then over the course of a few minutes on the final day of the event, his luck changed. When he heard his name called as the winner of the Hustler mowers and trailer giveaway, he was in disbelief thinking, “…wait, what did they just say? I think they’re saying my name!”

After having a few months to let it all sink in, Samuel reflected on the impact that three brand-new Hustler® commercial mowers and trailer has had on his three-person, one-truck operation. “I really can’t begin to say how big this is for my business. I already thought Hustler was a terrific brand and this has solidified that belief for me”. He added, “I was already running Hustler products in my fleet and was facing replacing a long list of parts on a competitor mower that was going to set my small business back quite a bit going into this season, so this could not have come at a better time.” As for Samuel’s immediate plans, he intends to continue to expand his residential client base and shared, “these mowers have already allowed me to start adding more properties to my book of business… utilizing the Super S® Stand-on and TrimStar® mowers.”

The extensive dealer network is just another reason Samuel believes in Hustler products, stating, “the Hustler brand also seems to have the best dealer base of any brand that I have worked with”. Caldera doesn’t need any assurances when it comes to Hustler Turf equipment, saying, “I work closely with a few friends of mine that are also in the Landscape industry, and we all agree that Hustler Commercial mowers are the mowers to own if your paycheck depends on it.”
